About Taco Time & the taco time Experience
Taco Time was born from a simple belief: that the best taco time starts with fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and genuine hospitality. We are proud to serve communities across United States with food made the way it was meant to be — honest, vibrant, and deeply satisfying.
From a Family Kitchen to a tacotime Community Favorite
It all started in 2009 when founder Maria Sandoval set up a small taco stand at a North Salt Lake farmer's market. With recipes passed down through three generations, she introduced the neighborhood to the vibrant, authentic flavors of true Mexican street cuisine — the original taco time experience.
Word spread fast. Within two years, demand outgrew the stand. In 2011, Taco Time opened its first brick-and-mortar restaurant at 496 E 1100 N, North Salt Lake, UT. The same commitment to fresh, hand-prepared ingredients and warm service that defined the stand remained at the heart of everything.
Today, Taco Time has served over 50,000 loyal customers across United States, and we remain as passionate as ever about bringing bold, honest flavors to every plate. Every tortilla is pressed fresh, every salsa is made in-house, and every meal is served with the love that started it all.
